You have a passion and have created a blog for it. You are posting quite regularly but your blog has very little viewership. You must be wondering, even if anybody is aware of your blog’s existence. Many times you must have felt the urge to just stop writing and abandon blogging. Give your blog one more chance. 1) Search for bloggers in your niche who also share your passion. Swap you links. Still better, promote your blog using other blogger’s platform by offering a guest post. A post will provide the other blog much needed expert content and at the same time, you and your blog will get exposure as an expert in that niche. You will notice a marked improvement in your website’s traffic after a guest post. You can replicate this formula over many other blogs and you could be well only your highway to internet fame.

This will create natural and relevant backlinks to your blog. Google considers such inbound links while ranking your site. In no time will you see exponential rise in traffic and your search engine ranks for your keywords.

4) Bookmarking: Social bookmarking websites such as Delicious and Digg are great tools to increase traffic to your site and at the same time provide valuable inbound links. Nowadays, there are hundred of bookmarking sites, where your blog can be submitted for greater exposure.
5) Blog Comments: Though, very much abused, it’s still a very good way to increase traffic if followed earnestly. Search for blogs in your niche, read blogs and make intelligent and useful comments. Make sure you are contributing to the discussion and are not spamming. Do not forget to place your blog link there.
