The row of windows is located between to different sections of the roof with each of these two sections being at a different pitch. The construction of such a shed will more complicated to build than a simpler such a pent roof style shed.
Gambrel Style Shed
This shed has a roof such you would see on a typical barn. The roof on this shed has two sides. The roof is symmetrical in its design. Each side has two sections which different in slope or pitch. The top sloping section of this two section roof has smallest pitch and the lower section of the roof is the steepest. This type of roof creates a loft which increase the amount of storage space available inside the structure. However this type of shed will be complicated to build than a pent roof style shed.
Gable Roof Shed
This structure can be complicated to build when compared to the pent roof shed. However it will be easier to build than a clerestory or gambrel roof shed. The roof on this shed uses and a-frame style structure.
