Hi Tech Explorer Learning Tablet

Do you remember waking up as a kid and being excited to open up the presents under the tree? I loved that feeling. I remember the glee of ripping open the glittery wrapping to find the toy I really wanted. I never knew how my parents knew but I absolutely lived for those moments back then.

Of course there are those few Christmases when a beloved aunt or uncle sent over a gift that I was excited to open because of the nice gift wrapping and all, only to find out it was some lame pair of socks or a book or something. Now I understand and appreciate that it’s the thought that counts, but kids don’t really see that. They just remember the feeling when they receive their presents and let me tell you, the right gift more than produces a feeling – it’s a memory that you can always look back on to bring a smile to your face.

So what are you planning to give your child or niece or nephew this Christmas? If they’re into anything specific then that’s what you should go for. However, if you have no idea what to give them but you really want to be the one who gave the best gift – then a good idea to give them is a personalized tablet for kids.

Kids nowadays are so into technology stuff. If you have a child of your own, you know that they are always borrowing your iPad or iPhone to play with. Well, if you don’t want to risk losing valuable information or even them breaking your pricey gadgets, your best bet is to get them their own and the best thing is that they will love you for it!

There are a few gadgets out there that are designed specifically for kids. You can check out the reviews to find out which one your little one will love the most. I know there’s a product from Fisher-Price that teaches kids how to read in a fun and interactive way. Some parents say that they outgrow these easily though so these gadgets are more ideal for very young children, like two or three years old.

LeapFrog is known for some really fantastic kid friendly toys that you can check out. I think their latest product is called the LeapPad and this has been getting rave reviews on several online polls. It has a built in camera and voice recorder that kids love and use for the stories that they create with the gadget.

There are a few fun applications, but if you really want to maximize this device, you can download more games and digital books to further broaden the child’s knowledge. A library of more than a hundred applications that teaches subjects like reading, math, culture, arts, languages and more are available online for a fee. I love this because this is not only fun for kids, but this will make learning an enjoyable experience for them as well.

If you are a fan of LeapFrog and you’ve purchased some of their products then you know what I mean. I think you can even use Leapster games for the LeapPad, which is a great and will save you money. The only problem with this though is that kids love using it so much that they will run the batteries dry. It’s a good idea for you to buy rechargeable batteries so you won’t have to purchase AA batteries all the time.

More than anything, the best gift you can give to a child is yourself. The time you take in thinking about what to give them, the attention you lavish on them and the encouraging words you speak over them is beyond valuable and it will shape them to be the person you want them to be. Happy gift shopping!
